Episode Highlights: Blood Lad #08

Right now we’re getting dangerously close to the point where its’ manga’s counterpart it at. With only a few episodes left, I have a lot of doubts on how the show will end. And whether it will be satisfying end at that.

One thing’s for sure that there’s an obvious love triangle brewing. Fuyumi and Staz might be confused as to how they actually feel towards one another but for Hydra Bell, she does have a strong infatuation towards Staz. Though it seems that Staz for now is oblivious to her affections. The alternative, he might be ignoring those feelings of hers, like that certain demon long who works as a part-timer. I definitely think that the earlier is the more accurate theory to the situation we have here.
In regards to the relationship that Fuyumi has with Hydra Bell, I see those two has having a more sisterly sort of bond. I am sure that Hydra Bell truly cares about Fuyumi but the latest development does leave one puzzled to why she let Knell off with Fuyumi. From the small revelation that was shown this week, it seems that both Knell and Hydra Bell are siblings and that their mother requested for Fuyumi to be brought to her for some yet unexplained reason. It definitely will be interesting to see that. Maybe they’ll get a cure for Fuyumi’s affliction in the process?

Aside from the main plot revolving the recovery of Fuyumi, we do get a small sub-plot involving Braz and one of his many schemes. He works closely with Doctor Frankenstein (lolz), from what I gather giving him body parts for his homunculus experiments. Braz gets arrested for trespassing while acting super cool while doing that. From the previews, I expect some crazy shit from Braz’s side of the show.
